Initial efforts focused on examining the receiver. Suspecting broken connections near the USB port, I applied pressure at different angles. Occasionally, `dmesg` would detect a USB device, and `lsusb` correctly identified it as a Valve Steam Controller receiver. After learning more about the internal chip, I used a multimeter for deeper diagnostics and performed basic trace analysis to locate irregularities.
